Python kit license
Free individual-use license
Who can use it
This license grants an individual permission, free of charge, to use and modify the Python kit for their own projects, including personal commercial projects. It does not grant organizations a license. Use on behalf of an employer, business client, or other organization requires a separate written license from the copyright holder.
Permitted use
Eligible individuals may copy the kit, adapt its instructions, and provide them to coding-agent tools for permitted projects. The kit includes AGENTS.md, PROMPT.md, and the supplied starter materials.
Applications you build
You retain your rights in the applications you build. You may use, sell, deploy, and distribute those applications and their source code under terms you choose, including selling them to organizations. Recipients do not need a kit license merely to use your application. This does not authorize using the kit for commissioned work on behalf of an organization or distributing the kit under your application license.
Sharing and attribution
You may share the original or modified kit free of charge, including in public repositories, provided you include this license, retain existing attribution, identify Bounded Software Architecture at https://boundedsoftwarearchitecture.com as the source, and clearly identify modifications. Recipients receive only the permissions in this license. You may not sell or sublicense the kit itself or remove its license restrictions.
Organization and enterprise use
Organizations, including enterprises, and individuals using the kit on their behalf must obtain a separate written license before that use. Contact michal@boundedsoftwarearchitecture.com for licensing, consulting, or implementation assistance. Consulting and other services are separate agreements and are not included in this free license.
Updates and other materials
No future updates or ongoing support are promised. Third-party tools and dependencies retain their own licenses. This license applies to the supplied kit materials, not to ownership of general architecture ideas or independently created code.
Warranty and rights
The kit is provided as is, without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. For questions, contact michal@boundedsoftwarearchitecture.com.
